Senior Project Director
Andrew Pozniak heads our global project team and brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in the aviation sector. His experiene includes sustainability, emissions management and compliance, corporate planning, financial control, risk management, operations management, project and program management of major aviation initiatives.
He previously worked for British Airways in various key roles in operations and project management. He subsequently joined IATA where he was responsible for the oversight of a large portfolio of high-profile aviation industry initiatives and special projects reaching $55 million per annum investment.
Andrew provides CORSIA advise and has advised and project-managed the implementation of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme for several leading airlines and corporate jet operators. He also advises companies on sustainability strategies and introducing sustainable biofuels.
One of his current assignments includes the development and introduction of a new and unique initiative in helping to mitigate the carbon impact of aviation under the pilot project: fly-eco.com
Andrew is a working group member with the ‘Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials’, a member of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals, an affiliate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, a member of the Royal Geographical Society.
He presents and moderates at leading aviation conferences and is a co-organiser of the successful Aviation Carbon series of conferences.
